At a time when city government faces unprecedented challenges to its finances and delivery of city services, Chris Olsen is the City Council candidate best qualified to address those challenges. He lives in Hillcrest and has worked as a policy analyst for the City’s Independent Budget Analyst Office for the past five years. He also teaches budget and fiscal policy as a faculty member at the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University. His career has been in public service, having worked for 15 years for elected officials and city government.
